Currently, we are only offering a type or class reservation for rental vehicles.
To rent a vehicle you will need a valid driver’s license and current proof of full coverage auto insurance.
The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 18 years old.
No deposit is required to rent a vehicle. The rental agreement amount will be collected when the vehicle has been returned.
At this time we do not offer any additional insurance coverage for vehicle rentals. The renter must provide proof of full coverage auto insurance to rent a vehicle from Volkswagen of Salem.
If excessive dirt/sand, trash, or animal hair is found in a returned rental vehicle you will be charged a $350 cleaning fee. Small amounts of trash, shoe prints on carpet, finger prints on dash and windows are considered normal use and do not require a cleaning fee.
Yes. If the vehicle is returned without a full tank, the renter will be charged $10 per gallon.
Pets are allowed only when secured in approved pet carriers. Please notify the rental agent that you have a pet and they will address the details. Please note that excessive pet hair in the vehicle when returned will lead to a cleaning fee.
No. Smoking and vaping is not allowed in our rental vehicles. If smoking or vaping is detected in a rental vehicle upon return, there will be a $500 cleaning fee charged.

No. Our rental cars cannot leave the United States.
