For many of us drivers, we know car terms, but we might not know what those terms mean in application. One such example is coolant or antifreeze. Many know it works to cool the engine but what's the benefit and when should we get it replaced? We're here to provide answers.

Coolant makes sure the engine stays at the right temps, but it also ensures that the water pump, head gasket, piston timing and cylinders are lubricated. It all works to make sure your vehicle doesn't overheat, which is important. If you notice any overheating, get it checked right away. Otherwise, every 50,000 miles is a good time to replace coolant, and we're happy to help you with that.
