Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Service technicians spend most of the workday performing routine vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Receive work orders and deliver customer vehicles to the service area.
• Perform services within the specified timeline.
• Promptly communicate with advisors regarding changes/disruptions.
• Consider presenting symptoms, inspect relative components, and accurately diagnose performance problems.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain and inventory parts.
• Understand and record computerized service data.
• Perform quality assurance checks and road test vehicles to verify results.
• Attend training classes.
• Understand and administer the internal, state, and federal regulations.
• Administer housekeeping policies and safety procedures.
